Flique's reincarnation

Flique will die soon, only to be renewed. Flique will be rewritten to Python, instead of PHP, because Python is more pretty. It will also be more of a complete CMS, instead of simply a blog. The list of planned features include:

Regular content pages

Modules to extend Flique (called Poques [maybe])

Better templating system

RSS for comments

The RSS feed has been linked into the code, so Safari users can simply click the RSS icon in the URL bar to read all the latest and greatest news, or even subscribe to it (because we all know how much Flique is loved). Have loads of fun with that.

Just as the Windows version of Google Earth comes out of beta, the long-awaited Macintosh version is released! Now any 17" PowerBook G4 can be put to good use as a virtual roadmap.

All the style functions were switched to session and cookie variables, so now when you log out or leave Flique, the last style you used will be saved. Therefore when you come back to Flique, the same style is used.

There is now a nice little RSS feed here. It is generated by PHP and MySql, reading from the same database that the main page is reading from, but reformatting it into XML. Perhaps this would be a good thing to put in a footer...

Now pages for signing up and changing your password are availible! I might later add features such as personal icons and such, but I will first make the stylesheets work properly. As of now, only the Ipod style is 100% functional.

What started out as a (slightly) simple style switching page is now a (mostly) fully functional blog! Soon to be added are a signup link, gallery and download pages, and fixes to the Evil and Trench styles.
